Transfer

For international hunters intending to fly to Botswana, we offer a complimentary collection service to and from Sir Seretse Khama International Airport, Gaborone. You will have an opportunity to pick-up any last minute provisions in town before heading into the wild. This will be a short 2 hour trip by car and an opportunity to have your first glimpse of Botswana.

Firearms

Traveling with firearms requires some preparation. Please let us know in advance, we would be happy to assist with the process.

If you prefer to avoid the hassle of travelling with a firearm, we have a variety of proven rifles available for hire.

Weather

You will experience the Kalahari desert climate characterized by extreme day and night temperatures. The cold months of May, June, July and August can be below freezing overnight and rise to 25C / 77F during the day. The hot months start at 10C / 50F in the morning and climb to 34C / 93F during the day.

Medical

80 Due North is located in the South of Botswana. This region does not require any special vaccinations for malaria, yellow fever or dengue.

Trophy & Taxidermy

Trophies can be prepared on site and forwarded to a professional taxidermist in Botswana. The taxidermist would then handle your trophy request and export directly to your home. Please allow several months for the mounting and transport of your trophy.
